Terms and conditions

We are committed to ensure that any product we deliver is of a high standard. To ensure a high standard of product we will only deliver by frozen freight.  Because of risk of delivery, the freight company we use, will only deliver to a commercial address.  It is your responsibility to make sure the product is accepted, stored and picked up in a timely manner.  Alternatively you could arrange for pick up at your nearest Big Chill Depot.
We do not make claims of tenderness, for our genuine free range chicken products have reduced fat, and a denser meat than shed raised chicken.  Consumers accustomed to the shed raised chickens (even  some with claims of free range) will notice a difference, greater flavor, the leg meat tends to be red with thicker tendons, as they do actually use these muscles and run around outside. 

Returns Policy
We want you to be 100% delighted with your purchase.  Please arrange for someone to accept delivery of your chickens and frozen storage or notify you immediately
Returns and credits
All claims must be notified within 2 days of receipt of delivery of goods.  Claims outside this time frame may not be accepted by Westwood Organics Ltd.

Refunds Policy
Wherever possible, Westwood Organics Ltd will replace damaged or faulty goods, otherwise a full refund will be issued for the value of the damaged or faulty goods, in accordance with our returns policy.
Shipping Restrictions
We do not ship outside New Zealand.
We normally ship on Tuesday of each week ( orders required before 10:00 am Monday).  All products will be sent to you frozen, unless you have made special arrangements with us.  To ensure the product arrives at its destination frozen, we will only arrange delivery with frozen freight transport.  Because of risk of delivery, the freight company we use, will only deliver to a commercial address.  It is your responsibility to make sure the product is accepted, stored and picked up in a timely manner.  Alternatively you could arrange for pick up at your nearest Big Chill Depot.

Customer liability of every order
The customer will be liable for every order under its login and agrees to indemnify Westwood Organic Ltd products for all claims, damages and whatsoever by any third party arising from the actions of a person placing orders for the products using the customer login. 

Payment
Prices are displayed in NZ Currency and are inclusive of GST and any other sales tax. 
How can I pay for my order?
Payment can be made by using your Visa or Mastercard credit card at the checkout.  Please note Westwood Organics will not deliver an order if payment has not been received
Can I create an account and pay at the end of the month?.
No, payments must be received by Westwood Organics Ltd before an order can be delivered.

What are freight costs
We recommend an order of a full banana box – approx. 20kg.  This will be most cost effective for freight. All frozen freight orders are based on this minimum size, or multiples of.

20 Kg or 1 full banana box would consist of 14 medium size chicken – 14’s – 16’s, 12 large chickens 18’s to 22’s or 18 small 10’s to 12’s and 16 chickens for size 13.
Check with friends and family, may be they would like to place an order with you to reduce freight costs.
